Dr. Nicholas Faiver is a dedicated, specialty-trained podiatric surgeon with extensive training in the medical and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. He is passionate about providing patients with the best possible medical care and treatment plans that provide the best possible outcomes that fit their lifestyles and treatment goals.

He studied physiology at Michigan State University and completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. He went on to complete a three-year trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at Jefferson Health and Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Faiver is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. 

Having a special interest in academic medicine and surgery, Dr. Faiver has presented at the regional and national level at podiatric medical conferences and actively works on academic research for publication. He has vast experience in the surgical and nonsurgical care of all aspects of the foot and ankle, including complex trauma and reconstruction, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, sports injuries, Charcot deformity, nerve disorders, wound care, skin grafting, deformities, and tendon and arthritis conditions.

In his spare time, Dr. Faiver enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing sports, hiking, and playing guitar and piano.

Dr. Faiver is available to see patients same-day at our Torrington and Bristol locations if you call before 4:00 p.m.
