Dr. Bassem Abraham is an advanced, fellowship-trained pain management doctor specializing in the latest nonsurgical solutions to bone, joint, muscle, spine, and nerve-related pain. Dr. Abraham has decades of experience in caring for patients from all walks of life and world-class training in interventional pain management. He utilizes all his experience to provide the best care to every one of his patients, working closely with them to help reduce their pain, restore their function, and reach their goals.
After completing his medical degree and internships, Dr. Abraham went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Later, Dr. Abraham furthered his training through an exclusive pain medicine fellowship at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey. He is certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine through The American Board of Anesthesiology.
Prior to joining Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates, he held several positions as a doctor, a leader, and a medical educator. Dr. Abraham served patients and trained and mentored pain doctors at several renowned institutions, including as an assistant professor of clinical anesthesiology at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and as a chairman and the director of pain management at St. Louis VA Medical Center in Missouri.
